About the Role
We are looking for experienced Housekeepers on a Permanent Part-time or Full-time basis to welcome and make our parks and motel at Experience Broken Hill a special place for our guests.
You will be responsible for:
- Cleaning rooms, cabins, facilities and other work areas so that health standards and guest standards are met
- Carrying linen, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies to areas to be cleaned
- Emptying bins and transport waste to appropriate areas
- Ensuring all appliances are clean and in working order
- Removing expired food from fridge/s
- Replenishing supplies in rooms and other areas
- Disinfecting equipment and supplies
- Observing precautions required to protect the site and guest / resident property, report damage, theft and found articles to Site Manager
- Keeping storage areas well-stocked, clean and tidy
- Working in a positive team environment showing excellent customer service skills to guests.

These roles are permanent part-time and full-time positions. You must be available to be rostered as required on weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays and School holidays as required.

Candidates must provide authority for a Working with Children Check and a Federal Police Clearance to disclose any criminal offences or charges. If you already have a Police Clearance valid within the last 6 months, please upload a copy to your profile.
Drivers Licence is required.

Concrete Kerb Machine Operator
We are currently seeking Slipform Concrete Kerb Machine Operator/Finishers with previous experience on civil residential/industrial construction sites.
The successful candidates will value the environment they work in and have a high priority for safety. You will be expected to complete all tasks to the highest standards and be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring planning, ordering, placement and finishing of premixed concrete is carried out in a manner that promotes quality and consistency of the product
- Operate Slipform Kerbing equipment safely with due respect to the well-being of both personnel and mechanical equipment
- General labouring duties as required
- Responsible and accountable for a safe working environment, equipment cleaning and maintenance requirements and; reporting of safety incidents
- Comply with all relevant WH&S legislation
If you have previous experience in a similar role and meet the following criteria we want to hear from you.
To be successful you must:
- Have a current NSW drivers’ license
- Have a WHS General Construction Induction Certificate
- Have previous experience in concrete kerb slipforming & finishing
- Have experience with or be open to be trained in GPS technology
- Have previous experience working on civil construction sites
- Have strong communication skills
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be trustworthy, hard-working and take pride in their work
